Telegram support team onboarding checklist
A new teammate should know which customers they own, which company account they use, and what they may access before they start replying. A repeatable onboarding checklist makes those boundaries visible from day one.

Why onboarding needs more than an account login
Adding a person to a Telegram support operation is not just a matter of handing over a login. Without clear ownership and access boundaries, new staff may see more customer information than their work requires, while existing conversations can be left without an accountable next action.
Before onboarding, decide which work the teammate will perform, which team they belong to, what customer records they need, and who will review access-sensitive actions. Then use those decisions to configure the supported COnnect roles and operating records.
A practical onboarding checklist
1. Create a named employee identity and assign a role
Use an individual employee account rather than a shared team login. Assign a role that matches the teammate's responsibilities. Separate routine customer support from administration and security review instead of granting broad permissions by default.
2. Set the organization and data scope
Place the employee in the correct department and configure the organization data scope they need. A role describes permitted functions; data scope determines which supported business records are in view. Check both together before the teammate starts working.
3. Explain which Telegram accounts are for company work
Identify the company Telegram accounts or channels the team is expected to use and who is responsible for each one. Keep company and personal account use distinct in team procedures. COnnect's organization controls do not replace Telegram session, recovery, or Two-Step Verification settings.
4. Assign initial customers and open work
Give the new teammate a defined set of customer relationships or a clear supervised queue. Review pending replies, follow-up descriptions, customer context, and the next action together. Transfer ownership explicitly so the team can see who is responsible; do not assume that adding an employee automatically reassigns existing customers.
5. Show how to request additional access
Explain that temporary approval is available only for configured, supported resources and does not replace the employee's base role or data scope. Show where the supported approval workflow is handled and who reviews requests in your organization.
6. Review the setup after the first working period
Check whether the assigned scope is sufficient, whether any customer lacks a clear owner, and whether follow-up work is visible to the right people. Adjust role, scope, or ownership through the normal administrative process when responsibilities change.
Manager's pre-start review
- Does the employee have an individual account and a role tied to their job?
- Is their department and organization data scope correct?
- Are company Telegram accounts and their owners clearly identified?
- Are initial customers, pending replies, and next actions assigned to named people?
- Does the employee know how to request review for supported sensitive actions?
- Are Telegram's own session and recovery controls handled separately?
Do not grant broad access as a shortcut for faster onboarding. Add only the role and data scope required for assigned work, then review it when responsibilities change.
How COnnect supports the checklist
COnnect provides employee and department records, role permissions, organization data scope, customer and company-channel ownership, pending-reply visibility, follow-up context, and supported approval workflows. These controls help teams organize access and responsibility in supported COnnect workflows; they do not automatically provision every Telegram account or prove that every message is audited.

FAQ
Should a new support teammate use a shared Telegram login?
Use the organization's approved account model and keep individual responsibility visible. Do not share passwords or verification codes as a substitute for named employee access in COnnect.
Does adding an employee automatically assign customers to them?
No. Customer ownership and follow-up responsibility should be reviewed and assigned through the supported workflow. Do not assume existing customers are reassigned automatically.
Can temporary approval replace the employee's normal role?
No. The employee must first have the required base role and organization scope. Approval adds review for configured sensitive actions; it is not a substitute for normal permissions.
Set clear boundaries before the first reply.
